The barn is a blank canvas venue – it is yours to style as you wish, to create a space that is personal, individual and exclusive to you. We know every bride is different, every couple is unique and your wedding day should reflect that. To help you create the wedding day of your dreams, we offer you the chance to make the barn YOUR own, YOUR friends, YOUR family, YOUR style, YOUR day, YOUR way.

The barn can seat 150 guests and despite having state of the art underfloor heating, integral toilets, catering area and electrical capacity to suit even the biggest parties, it is quite simply beautiful. Light, natural limestone floors, ancient arrow slit windows and original exposed beams make this venue truly exquisite. With spotlights shooting up every delicate archway and every chink of the old walls you can’t help but fall in love with its charm and natural beauty. Decorate it however you wish or let the romance and elegance of the space do all the talking for you.

Included in the hire is a two-night stay at our four-bedroom Honeysuckle Cottage and bridal accommodation in our sensational Coachman’s Cottage for the wedding night- no need to wait on taxis on the most important night of your lives.

Take full advantage of the exquisite grounds and gardens of Tall Johns House- the enchanting walled garden with rose bower, sweet pea avenues and rill or the wonderful sweeping lawns with an ancient weeping lime tree. Perhaps enjoy a moment on our couple’s swing as you take a breather or choose our romantic gazebo for your ceremony. Recently we’ve included the enticing Granary for an alternative ceremony space or extra reception area. The idyllic courtyard behind the barn can be used in many ways – for reception drinks, a bit of quiet from the dancing and a chance to chat over a firepit or you could place a marquee here for whatever you need.

What makes this venue so incredible is that it truly offers something unique- the opportunity to make our barn your own. Also, if you wish you can stay with your family and friends in our elegant, fully catered, country manor house. The house sleeps up to 19 and boasts beautiful Georgian architecture, luxurious accommodation and delicious meals provided by our in-house chef. A perfect choice for the bridal party to spend some quality time together as they celebrate your big day.
